Freebie: April 2012 Printable Calendar

Wow, we’re almost 1/2 way through March already! With that in mind I’m posting my April calendar now. This month I did something a little different. I decided to incorporate a little illustration that I found on MelonHeadz Illustrating. Isn’t he adorable? I love him and the kiddos do too. I printed him in full size so we can color him as well.

And because I wanted to really step out of my calendar creating ‘box’ I made another version in color.

Here’s a close up of the little guy. I don’t know what I like more; coloring him in Photoshop or with colored Sharpies.

I have not printed this out because I’m a slacker sans colored ink at the moment. And while I normally prefer a good ol’ black & white calendar I’m kinda diggin’ the Spring colors. I’m tempted to get my butt to Staples and pick up those ink cartridges…although I’m fearful to do so because I have yet to see any of the Martha Stewart Home Office Collection up close and personal. I want those dry erase labels and file pockets!
